Gabriela Mejias has been working in the field of research infrastructure for the past six years. She’s DataCite Community Manager and leads DataCite participation in tthe FAIR-IMPACT and FAIRCORE4EOSC projects. In her role, she also contributes to DataCite outreach and collaborates with the broader community. Previously, Gabriela worked at ORCID focusing on adoption and membership as the Engagement Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa region and for ORCID consortia. She volunteers across organizations and initiatives to promote openness and inclusion in scholarly communications. She was awarded the NISO Plus 2020 Scholarship and the 2020 European Summer School on Internet Governance (EuroSSIG) Fellowship. She serves in the Board of Networked Digital Library of Thesis and Dissertations (NDLTD), and in the NISO Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility committee. She has a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina).
