Phiri is a Lecturer and Researcher at The University of Zambia (https://unza.zm), a position he has held since joining the institution in 2017. He is also a founding member of the DataLab Research Group (http://datalab.unza.zm) at The University of Zambia.
Lighton holds a Master of Science in Computer Science (2013) and a PhD in Computer Science (2018), both from the University of Cape Town (http://www.uct.ac.za/). His broad research interests lie within the areas of Digital Libraries and Data Mining. He also has on-going research interest in Information and Communication Technologies for Development (ICT4D) and Technology-Enhanced Learning.
