Prashant Pandey is an experienced, senior executive who is able to inspire and lead change in the rapidly changing environment for libraries and research institutions. He is currently acting as the Director and Copyright Officer for the Office of Library services at Charles Darwin University (CDU), with his substantive role being Associate Director Resources and Technology Services. Prior to joining CDU, he was the Executive Director Content Development responsible for content, digital and online engagement strategies at the State Library of Queensland. He has also served as Director Digital Library and Innovation at Deakin University where he was responsible for providing leadership and direction in delivering the University’s Digital Library of the future. In a prior role, he led VTLS as the Director of the APAC region managing customer expectations for VITAL (the Fedora based propriety digital asset management system). He holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Information Science. He is passionate about developing innovative ICT services enabling discovery of the world’s scholarship and knowledge in a digital age.
