NCL, led by Director General Shu-Hsien Tseng, has been working on this task and strengthening the promotional services both nationally and internationally since 2010. NCL became a member of the NDLTD in 2010 and has conformed to international practices in the creation of the NCL database of theses and dissertations to increase the international visibility and academic influence of Taiwanese scholars. In 2016, Dr. Tseng was nominated for and won the NDLTD Leadership Award, a further indication of NCL’s achievements in co-building and sharing electronic theses and dissertations.
