Sofia Mota is currently the Director of Portucalense Infante D. Henrique University, Portugal and, among other duties, is responsible for the University Information Literacy programs. She holds a graduation in Languages and Literature, from the University of Coimbra, a Postgraduate Diploma and an M.Phil in Library and Information Sciences, from the Portuguese Catholic University, and a PhD in Library and Information Sciences, from the University of Évora. She was formerly a Lecturer in Library User Education and Information Literacy at the Portuguese Catholic University.
